Charlie Redfearn is rooted in the foundational history of REDLEE/SCS, INC (originally REDLEE INC.)., a leading nationwide commercial facilities management and janitorial services enterprise. The Redfearn family's entrepreneurial journey with the company began in 1981 when Charles Redfearn Sr. set out to approach the commercial cleaning business differently, establishing the company alongside his son, Charles (Chuck) Redfearn Jr., in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

From its earliest milestones, such as securing a landmark contract to maintain the campus and facilities of Oral Roberts University, the family-led venture focused on strategic growth. Charles Sr. spearheaded the business by actively securing contracts, establishing a foundational footprint that allowed the company to expand into Dallas, Texas by 1984. His early vision laid the groundwork for the multi-generational corporate framework that guides the organization today.

Through the initial efforts established by the family, REDLEE/SCS blossomed from a modest venture into a certified Native American minority-owned business employing over a hundred managers and thousands of cleaners nationwide. While the company has grown into a major multi-state entity, the legacy and core guiding principles established by the early generations of the Redfearn family remain the cultural bedrock of the company’s operations.
