On August 28, 2026, REDLEE/SCS hosted its annual charity shoot at the premier Elm Fork Shooting Sports facility in Dallas, Texas. The Pam Redfearn Holman Memorial Sporting Clay Shoot blended sportsmanship with a shared commitment to honoring memory and serving a noble cause. The beautiful late-summer morning provided an ideal backdrop for community members, partners, and supporters to come together for a day of fellowship and impactful fundraising.
The event saw an enthusiastic turnout, drawing 62 skilled shooters across various skill levels to test their aim on Elm Fork's challenging clay courses. Ensuring the day ran seamlessly were 38 dedicated volunteers, whose hard work—from managing registration to coordinating food and awards—was crucial to the shoot's smooth operation and welcoming atmosphere. The high energy and camaraderie on the course reflected the deep community spirit that defines this annual tradition.
Fundraising efforts reached impressive heights thanks to the incredible generosity of corporate sponsors and individual donors. Sponsorships generated a powerful $29,925, demonstrating the strong backing of corporate partners aligned with the cause. Complementing the sponsorships, the event’s exciting raffle raised an additional $7,541.67, as attendees enthusiastically purchased tickets for chances to win an array of premium guns, prizes, and experiences.
All proceeds from the event proudly benefited the American Valor Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting military veterans, first responders, and their families. Through direct financial assistance, educational opportunities, and community programs, the foundation continues the legacy of service, courage, and sacrifice demonstrated by America's heroes. The funds raised at Elm Fork directly empower the foundation to expand its reach and bolster critical support initiatives.
Thanks to the remarkable generosity of participants, sponsors, and volunteers, REDLEE/SCS presented a total net donation this year of $28,488.88 to the American Valor Foundation. To date, the event has now donated over $320,000. This substantial contribution stands as a testament to what a dedicated community can achieve when united for a cause, ensuring that Pam Redfearn Holman’s memory continues to inspire positive change and meaningful support for our nation’s heroes.
