REDLEE/SCS, INC does more than business. We donate our time and expertise to causes that matter to our clients and us. Internally, we recognize the employees who go above and beyond to improve their local communities. These values have been part of the foundation of our company and family since the beginning – it felt like the natural next step to create REDLEE/SCS, INC Charities.
What started as a family-owned business has grown to include those not only related by blood but related by mindset. Two key family members of the REDLEE/SCS, INC family drove the company to always remember to give back and lend a helping hand, Jill Redfearn and Pam Redfearn Holman. In their memory, supporting the community will always be a high priority for REDLEE/SCS, INC.
Jill was integral in our company’s efforts to give back to the communities in which we worked. Our family heritage was a source of her pride, and she was devoted to supporting those less fortunate. We honor her dedication annually with the Jill Redfearn Award for the most community service.
Pam brought humor and proper grammar to those she worked with. Everyone enjoyed her love of Monty Python and tacky snow globes. She organized efforts to make and send care packages to combat troops overseas for years. The annual charity shoot is held in her honor and supports military charities she supported in her life.
If you would like to hear more or become involved with our annual charity event, please contact Megan Williams at mwilliams@redleescs.com.
Every year, the company’s efforts culminate with the Pam Redfearn Holman Charity Sporting Clay Tournament, benefitting a military charity in honor of our beloved daughter, wife, aunt, and coworker who passed away in 2011.
Past beneficiaries include a DFW VA Hospital, The Wounded Warrior Project, The Fisher House, The Healing Road Foundation, Heroes on the Water, and The American Valor Foundation.
Since the event’s inception, REDLEE/SCS, INC Charities has raised over $290,000 net presented to these charities. Each year, we would like to see it grow more.
It was a pleasure attending the Dallas Stars Casino Night. It was a brilliantly executed evening that managed to capture the glitz of Vegas while keeping the focus firmly on such a meaningful cause. The energy in the room was electric. Watching the "high rollers" at the craps table and the intense focus at the blackjack stands made for a fantastic atmosphere. It’s rare to find an event that balances professional networking with genuine fun so seamlessly. Beyond the entertainment, seeing the dedication to the fundraising efforts was truly inspiring. It speaks volumes about the culture of the Dallas Stars Foundation that they prioritize giving back with such enthusiasm. We particularly enjoyed the chance to connect with our customer outside of our usual setting. These informal moments often spark the best ideas, and the evening left us feeling even more energized about our ongoing partnership. Congratulations on a successful night. We are proud to work with an organization that values community impact as much as professional excellence. We are already looking forward to next year’s event!
