The festival captures a nostalgic, high-energy atmosphere that blends a classic family cookout with an adult field day. Teams face off in spirited field day competitions and interactive trivia challenges, accompanied by a live DJ, local food vendors, and energetic live entertainment. To make the day fully inclusive for families, the event features designated children's activities alongside a "Cultural Corner" filled with historical resources, ensuring that the day is as enriching as it is entertaining.

Sustaining a large-scale community festival requires immense operational coordination, which is where local corporate philanthropy plays a crucial role. To ensure the festival could focus its resources entirely on community impact, REDLEE/SCS, INC. stepped in to donate the comprehensive post-event cleaning services for the entire venue. By managing the heavy lifting of the cleanup, the company's contribution allowed organizers to maintain a flawless, welcoming environment, ensuring the spirit of unity and excellence extended all the way to the final whistle.

CASA of Denton County celebrated a monumental milestone on Friday, May 1, 2026, hosting its 25th Annual Pulling for Kids sporting clay tournament. Held at Northlake Shooting Sports in Northlake, Texas, this signature fundraising event brought together outdoor enthusiasts, business leaders, and community champions for a premier day of friendly competition and philanthropy. Presented by LeadsOnline, the milestone anniversary highlighted a quarter-century of community dedication to raising critical funds for children in foster or alternative care who have experienced abuse or neglect.

The tournament offered participants an exceptional experience on a premier sporting clay course, blending sharp-shooting action with a festive, community-driven atmosphere. Patriot PAWS is special - their program provides these dogs at no cost to the recipient, so community support is vital.
